The championship is organised over two main days, split by competitive level: Rookie and Master.
Saturday 4 July 2026 — Rookie categories
Aimed at crews taking their first steps in urban dance competition, made up of 8 to 30 dancers.
Crews that have competed in national or international championships and obtained low scores may also take part.
Sunday 5 July 2026 — Master categories
Aimed at crews awarded prizes at national and international level within the last 5 years (not including the current year), made up of 8 to 30 dancers.
In Master, the Megacrew category starts at 20 dancers and All Styles at 8 dancers.
Registration
The registration deadline is set once the maximum number of accepted crews is reached.

In the Rookie category, if some members have taken part in these championships with high scores, the crew may not have more than 50% of its dancers competing in Rookie.
Categories
Classification of categories by day, level and age.
Rookie
Crews taking their first steps in competition or that, having competed before, do not belong to high-scoring levels.

Master

Number of dancers and age rules
Rules applicable to the make-up of crews and to members outside the age range.
Number of dancers per category

Outside the age range
- 2 dancers outside the age range are accepted.
- 3 dancers outside the age range are accepted for crews of 15 dancers or more.
- Lower ages are not considered outside the range.
Category promotion
All winning crews must compete the following year in the Master category.
Automatic disqualification: if there are more members than authorised in the Infantil, Junior and/or Youth categories who exceed the age limit, the whole crew will be disqualified from the competition.
Music, timing and stage
Technical conditions for music delivery, choreography duration and stage use.
Championship music
The person responsible for each crew must send the music track in MP3 or WAV format to music@modmallorca.com, indicating:
- Crew name.
- Choreographer's name.
- Category entered: Rookie or Master.
- Example: JAMICREW/ JULIO FRAC / ADULT ROOKIE.MP3
Backup copy
Each crew must bring the music track saved on a USB drive.
The USB drive must contain only the crew's competition music track.
Maximum duration

Stage
The stage is 14 x 12 m, made of wood.
A central white linear square marks only the lighting and spotlight area. Stepping outside that area is not penalised.
All categories may use the sides of the stage to enter and exit during their show. 3 wings are available.

Expected opening, check-in, start and approximate end times.
Saturday — Rookie · 4 July 2026
- Public opening and crew check-in: 3:00 pm.
- Championship start: 3:45 pm.
- Approximate end: 10:30 pm.
Sunday — Master · 5 July 2026
- Public opening and crew check-in: 2:00 pm.
- Championship start: 2:45 pm.
- Approximate end: 11:30 pm.
Scoring, tie-breaks and jury
Evaluation criteria and tie-break rules.
Scoring system
Each professional choreographer will score out of a total of 40 points, split across four criteria.

Continuity criterion
Jury members will have access to their scores throughout the whole category so that crews are not disadvantaged by their running order, and may adjust their score if they consider it necessary.
Tie-break
In the event of a tie in any category, the highest Technique score will decide the crew's position.

All Styles includes, among others:
- Jazz funk
- Contemporary
- Modern
- Style fusion
- Hip hop
Penalties and disqualification
Score deductions, technical infringements and grounds for disqualification.

| -5 points | Use of songs, attitudes and/or gestures inappropriate for the participant's age in Infantil and Junior. | At the jury's discretion. Applied to Overall Impression. |
| -5 points | Not delivering the music correctly on the day of the event. | Technical penalty. |
| -3 points | Not submitting the music before the stated deadline. | See music submission deadline in section 04. |
| -3 points | Not keeping to the established duration for the choreography. | Duration penalty. |
| -5 points | Using items that could hurt or injure the dancers. | If in doubt, check with the organisation. |
| -5 points | Choreography with steps or ideas identical or similar to those of a music video. | Penalty for lack of originality. |
| -5 points | Use of products that dirty the stage, e.g. glitter, confetti or water. | Penalty for improper use of stage elements. |
Disqualification: if there are more members than authorised in Infantil, Junior and/or Youth who exceed the age limit, the crew will be automatically disqualified.
Not penalised
Leaving the performance and lighting area marked on the stage with white lines is not subject to penalty.
Registration, accreditation and liability
Economic conditions, accreditation of team leaders and acceptance of the rules.
Team leader
Only 1 team leader per crew is admitted for registration purposes.
The original ID document of the team leader must be presented in order to be accredited.
Registration fee
All categories have a fee of €20 per competitor.
The fee includes participation in 1 category.
Choreographer
Registration for the choreographer is free, limited to 1 choreographer per crew.
Multiple-crew discount
Dancers taking part in several crews will get a 50% discount on the additional registration.
Laura dances in Junior Master: €20.
Laura also dances in Absoluta Master: 50% of €20 = €10.
Total: €30.
Acceptance of the rules
Participants accept all the rules of the MOD championship regulations.
Any injury occurring during the event is the participant's own responsibility.
Prizes
Prizes by category, special prizes and award conditions.
Award ceremony
At the award ceremony, the top 5 highest-scoring crews in their category will go up on stage.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Master of the Masters
Prize for the best score between Absoluta Master and Megacrew.
Prize money: €500 + special MOD trophy.
Audience favourite
Prize decided by the vote of the auditorium audience and the live streaming audience.
This also includes the Audience Prize — Premium Category, combining in-person and streaming audiences.

Lost property, donations and organisation
Final operational information and organising entity.
Lost property
The lost-property box for items lost during the event will be located at the advance-ticket entrance.
Use of funds
All money received from tickets and registrations is treated as a donation or contribution towards the cash prizes awarded and to cover the event's expenses.
